Common questions

Compliance deadlines, statute-cited.

What are the key annual ROC filings for a Pvt Ltd?+

A private limited company must hold its AGM within 6 months of the financial year end under s.96 of the Companies Act 2013, file audited financial statements in Form AOC-4 within 30 days of the AGM under s.137, and file the annual return in Form MGT-7 within 60 days of the AGM under s.92. The calendar builds these from your entity selection with the current FY2025-26 and FY2026-27 dates.

What are the LLP annual filings?+

An LLP files its Statement of Account and Solvency in Form 8 by 30 October under s.34(3) of the LLP Act 2008 (₹100/day late fee up to ₹1,00,000), and the annual return in Form 11 by 30 May under s.35(3) (same ₹100/day penalty). The audit threshold for an LLP is turnover above ₹40 lakh or capital contribution above ₹25 lakh per Rule 24 of the LLP Rules 2009.

When is the tax audit report and ITR due?+

The tax audit report in Form 3CD under s.44AB of the Income-tax Act 1961 is due by 30 September (0.5% of turnover or ₹1,50,000 penalty, whichever is lower, for late filing), and the income tax return for audited cases by 31 October — always for companies (ITR-6). Non-audit LLPs and proprietors file ITR-5/ITR-4 by 31 July with a ₹5,000 late fee (₹1,000 below ₹5 lakh income) under s.234F.

What GST returns does this calendar track?+

GSTR-3B (summary return with tax payment) due monthly or quarterly under QRMP, GSTR-1 (outward supplies) monthly or quarterly, and the annual return GSTR-9 by 31 December — with a ₹200/day late fee (₹100 CGST + ₹100 SGST) under s.47(2) of the CGST Act 2017 and notification-based caps. E-invoicing applies above ₹5 crore turnover and e-way bills for goods movement above ₹50,000.

Can I export these deadlines to my calendar?+

Yes — the calendar exports a .ics file with 30-day and 7-day reminders per event, importable into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook. Deadlines shown are general statutory dates; CBDT and MCA may notify extensions during the year, so verify the current dates before relying on them for a filing.
